Chalmers University of TechnologyDr. Jie Sun, an Associate Professor in the Quantum Device Physics Laboratory at Chalmers University of Technology, is a leading expert in graphene and semiconductor devices. With two PhD degrees from prestigious institutions in China and Sweden, Sun's research spans CVD growth of graphene, III-V and Si semiconductors, high-k dielectrics, ballistic and quantum transport, and carbon electronics. His prolific career includes over 80 published papers, 70 of which are covered by Web of Knowledge, earning him an h-index of 14. Sun's major works include groundbreaking research on noncatalytic chemical vapor deposition of graphene for transparent electrodes and developing efficient methods for graphene delamination from metal substrates. As the pioneer of Chalmers' first masters course in Graphene science and technology launched in 2014, Sun continues to shape the next generation of researchers in this cutting-edge field, bridging fundamental research with practical applications in nanoelectronics and carbon-based devices.
