Indiana UniversityJie Li is a Lecturer in the Operations and Decision Technologies department at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, bringing over two decades of IT industry experience to academia. Her diverse educational background includes an MBA from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, along with degrees in Computer Science and Law. Before transitioning to full-time faculty in 2017, she served as Director of Project Management and Data Services at the Kelley School of Business. Her expertise spans data analytics, software development, optimization and simulation modeling, data visualization, and database design. She teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in various formats, covering enterprise data management, data mining, machine learning, programming, and information systems. As a member of the Center for Learning Analytics and Student Success since 2017, she has contributed to multiple research projects examining factors influencing student success and course sequencing.
