Distinguished Optometry Educator and Clinical Expert

The Hong Kong Polytechnic UniversityDr. Jessica Neuville serves as a Clinical Associate at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University's School of Optometry, bringing extensive clinical and academic experience to her role. She earned her Doctor of Optometry from UC Berkeley and completed a residency in ocular disease and low vision at the Kansas City Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Prior to joining PolyU, she taught at Midwestern University's Arizona College of Optometry. A Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and member of the Hong Kong Society of Professional Optometrists, she has served on key professional bodies including the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education. Her teaching portfolio includes ocular pathology, pharmacology, binocular vision, and clinical optometry. She combines academic work with clinical practice at the university's Optometry Clinic, while contributing to research in optical coherence tomography and diabetic eye disease. Her recent achievements include receiving the Faculty Prize for Outstanding Achievement in Teaching and developing innovative eLearning strategies for optometry education
