Jen Gunderman

Jen Gunderman is an Assistant Professor of Musicology at Vanderbilt University's Blair School of Music, where she has taught since 2004, specializing in American popular music history. Alongside teaching, she is an active studio session musician, live performer, and producer. Her diverse career as a freelance musician has led to performances and recordings with artists such as Kris Kristofferson, Sheryl Crow, Willie Nelson, John Prine, and Emmylou Harris. Gunderman currently plays keyboards and sings in Sheryl Crow's band, showcasing her dynamic range in the music industry.
