Jef Spaleta

Jef Spaleta is a Technical Community Advocate at Isovalent, where he leverages over a decade of diverse technology experience spanning software engineering, open source contributions, and IoT hardware development to educate and engage with the cloud native community. His expertise in Cilium and eBPF technologies has led to significant contributions, including creating the Linux Foundation's Intro to Cilium course and developing comprehensive tutorials. At Isovalent, he leads community initiatives and technical content creation, notably launching the eBeeDex project for cataloging eBPF mascots. Prior to his current role, Spaleta served as the Principal Developer Advocate at Sensu Inc, where he refined his skills in community engagement and technical advocacy.
