Jay Misra

Professor Jay Misra has been a pivotal member of the Amrita School of Business since 2004, currently serving as the Co-Director of the Amrita Center for Sustainable Future. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, awarded in 1982, and has a dual B.S. and M.S. in Engineering/Operations Research with honors from the University of Pittsburgh, USA. His strong interest in mathematics led him to pursue college-level mathematics courses after completing the 10th grade. In addition to his academic roles, Professor Misra is deeply committed to social causes, particularly in serving underprivileged communities in India and around the world.
