Jack Goncalo

Jack Goncalo is a Professor of Business Administration and the Area Chair of Organizational Behavior/Business Law at the Gies College of Business, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from the University of California, Berkeley, and has previously served as a faculty member at Cornell University. With a focus on individual and team creativity, his research explores how social dynamics impact creative processes in organizations. His findings have been published in numerous academic journals and have garnered attention from major media outlets such as Time Magazine and The New York Times.In addition to his research, Professor Goncalo teaches courses that foster innovative thinking, including "Creativity Toolkit I: Changing Perspectives" and "Creativity Toolkit II: Creative Collaboration."
