Imed Boughzala is a Professor of Information Systems and currently serves as the Director of the National School of Computer Science for Industry and Business (ENSIIE). He has held various leadership roles, including Director of Initial Training, Director of the TIM (Technologies, Information & Management) department, and Dean of the Faculty at Institut Mines-Télécom Business School (IMT-BS). With a Doctorate in Engineering specializing in artificial intelligence, he is authorized to supervise research in both engineering and management sciences. Boughzala also holds an Executive MBA from IMT-BS and completed the Management and Leadership in Higher Education program at Harvard Graduate School of Education. He founded the IS Lab, an innovation and experimentation laboratory, and the SMART BIS (Business Information Systems) research team, with his current research focusing on digital intelligence, the digital transformation of organizations, big data governance, and quantum computing. He actively explores emerging technologies and their societal impacts and co-leads the observatory for the digital transformation of higher education institutions in management. Additionally, he is involved with the Labeling College of digital educational devices of the FNEGE (National Foundation for the Teaching of Business Management), serves as an expert for the CTI (Commission des Titres d'Ingénieur), and has been honored as a Knight in the Order of Academic Palms.
