Ian Nichols

Ian Nichols is a Language Specialist at the English Language Programs (ELP) at the University of Pennsylvania, where he has been teaching since January 2012. Ian specializes in general English and courses like English for Science and Business English, with a strong focus on grammar, vocabulary, and academic writing. He has also mentored numerous TESOL students at Penn's Graduate School of Education. Prior to joining the ELP, Ian taught academic English at Seoul National University and Missouri State University and also instructed writing courses for native speakers at Missouri State. Ian holds a graduate certificate in TESOL and a Master’s in English Literature from Missouri State University.
