Innovative Chinese Language Educator Advancing Digital Learning

After earning his PhD from Ohio State University, MPhil from Taiwan Normal University, and BA from National Tsing Hua University, he taught at Williams College and Harvard University before joining MIT. As a member of the MandarinX MOOC executive team, he has authored several Chinese language textbooks and contributed to the Encyclopedia of Chinese Language and Linguistics.
