Franz Wohlgezogen

Franz Wohlgezogen is an assistant professor at Università Bocconi, where he teaches organizational behavior, organization theory, and leadership. With extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, he has also served as a strategy and supply chain consultant for clients in pharma, agro-chem, automotive, and aerospace sectors across Europe, North and South America, Asia, and Australia. Recently, Wohlgezogen has shifted his focus to work with non-profit organizations and philanthropic foundations. His research examines how business and non-profit executives manage relationships with external stakeholders and orchestrate these connections to navigate challenging environments. He also investigates how organizations strategically manage crises, such as recessions and bankruptcies. His work has been published in prestigious journals, including the Academy of Management Annals, Journal of Management, Harvard Business Review, and Stanford Social Innovation Review.
