Dr. Femida Handy is a Professor of Nonprofit Studies at the School of Social Policy and Practice at the University of Pennsylvania. As Director of the PhD program in Social Welfare, she leads innovative research and scholarship in the field of nonprofit studies. Dr. Handy recently completed a six-year term as Editor-in-Chief of Nonprofit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly, the leading academic journal in this field.
