Professor Elon Eisenberg is a distinguished expert in Neurology and Pain Medicine at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. He graduated from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel-Aviv University and completed his residency in Neurology at Rambam Medical Center, followed by a specialized fellowship in Pain Management at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Eisenberg has served as the director of the Institute of Pain Medicine at Rambam Health Care Campus and has held the presidency of the Israeli Pain Association. Currently, he leads the Pain Research Unit at Rambam, focusing on understanding the mechanisms and treatment of various pain conditions, including neuropathic pain, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), cancer-related pain, and the effects of opioids and cannabinoids. With nearly 200 publications to his name, his research significantly contributes to advancements in pain management.
