Dr. Walter Hurley is a Professor Emeritus in Animal Sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he has made significant contributions to the field of lactation and mammary gland biology, particularly in dairy cattle and swine. He earned his B.S. and M.S. in Dairy Science from the University of Maryland and his Ph.D. in Animal Science from the University of Kentucky, followed by postdoctoral research at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
