Dr Siu-kei, Ken CHENG

Dr. Ken Cheng Siu-kei, a Principal Lecturer and former Director of the Chinese Language Centre at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, has established himself as a pioneering figure in Chinese language education and technology integration. His expertise spans Cantonese linguistics, phonology, and Chinese language teaching and assessment, with particular focus on developing innovative learning solutions for Non-Chinese Speaking students. Throughout his career, he has led numerous significant projects, including the development of mobile-based learning tools and artificial intelligence integration in DSR-Chinese subjects. His notable achievements include spearheading the "MOOC of Cantonese Learning - Cantonese for Beginners" project and managing various Language Enhancement Grant initiatives.
