With a robust educational background in philosophy, she holds a B.A. (Hons.), M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. in Philosophy, earned between 1979 and 1987. Over her impressive career spanning more than 36 years, Prof. Sachdev has taught courses such as Human Rights, Value and Ethics, and Indian Psychology and Logic, fostering critical thinking and ethical reasoning among her students.Her research interests are diverse, focusing on theories of epistemic investigations, the philosophical study of music and performing arts, and their roles in social reform. She also explores the debate between monism and pluralism within traditional philosophical systems, as well as the intricate relationship between performing arts and human behavior. In her teaching, Prof. Sachdev emphasizes innovative curriculum design that meets quality assurance standards while actively assessing research proposals and dissertations.Prof. Sachdev has made significant contributions to academia through numerous presentations at international and national conferences, authored book chapters, and produced corporate films for various organizations. She has also scripted documentaries for Doordarshan and conducted interviews with over 50 prominent personalities, including governors, philosophers, and film celebrities. Beyond her teaching responsibilities, she develops university research strategies, supervises student projects, and promotes critical discourse among students. Additionally, she has taught ethics to medical students at a recognized university in Jaipur and serves on their ethics committee.
