Dr. Lily Min Zeng is an Assistant Professor and course designer at The University of Hong Kong, bringing 18 years of teaching experience from higher education institutions in Hong Kong, New Zealand, and Mainland China. She earned her PhD in educational psychology from HKU's Faculty of Education. Dr. Zeng has played a pivotal role in coordinating and delivering professional development programs for university staff and previously served as the Acting Head of Programmes at the Centre for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning (CETL) at HKU. In her current position, she teaches a mandatory program for new academic staff, develops e-learning resources for faculty professional development, collaborates with various university units to create experiential learning e-learning packages for undergraduates, and conducts research projects to support evidence-based teaching initiatives. Additionally, she provides pedagogical consultation on learning diversity, assessment, feedback, peer review of teaching, and teaching portfolios to faculty both within and outside HKU.
