Carina Borgström Hansson has been a key figure at WWF since 2005, contributing significantly to the organization's global footprint strategies. As a member of WWF’s global footprint steering group, she has worked to elucidate the connections between consumption, investment, urbanization, and humanity's expanding ecological footprint, which is reflected in WWF's biannual Living Planet Report. In 2011, she spearheaded an initiative aimed at promoting urban solutions for sustainable lifestyles, emphasizing the critical role of cities in transitioning from fossil fuels towards a One Planet Future, where all can thrive within Earth's ecological limits.
