Dr. Daniel J. Pesut serves as Emeritus Professor and Past Director of the Katharine J. Densford International Center for Nursing Leadership at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing. His academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Nursing from the University of Michigan, an MS in psychiatric mental health nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center, and a BS in nursing from Northern Illinois University. His pioneering work includes the development of the Outcome-Present State-Test (OPT) model of reflective clinical reasoning, which has transformed nursing education.
