Claudia Barajas

Claudia Barajas, originally from Colombia, served as Director of Health Programs for the Latino Community Development Agency in Oklahoma from 1996 to 2015, where she developed programs to meet the health needs of Latino populations. Now the Community Engagement Manager at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, she focuses on increasing cancer prevention awareness and clinical trial participation among African American, Latino, and rural communities. Claudia builds partnerships with organizations across Tennessee to reduce cancer disparities using evidence-based strategies.
