Distinguished Knowledge Transfer Expert and Research Implementation Pioneer
Christian Dagenais serves as Full Professor in the Department of Psychology at the Université de Montréal since 2004, where he leads the RENARD research team on knowledge transfer, established in 2008 with FQRSC funding. His research focuses on three main areas: evaluating psychosocial intervention staff needs, assessing knowledge transfer strategies, and identifying conditions that promote research utilization. His career includes significant roles as Evaluation Director at the Centre de liaison sur l'intervention et la prévention psychosociales (CLIPP) from 2002 to 2011, and since 2023, as Scientific Director of the Centre de transfert pour la réussite éducative du Québec (CTREQ). His work extends internationally to countries including Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Madagascar, and France. With a PhD in Psychology from UQAM (2000), he has established himself as a leading figure in knowledge transfer research, bringing together high-caliber researchers and practitioners. His recent publications focus on MOOC-based learning for knowledge translation, evaluation frameworks for knowledge mobilization strategies, and the changing paradigm of knowledge transfer among graduate students
