Chan-Byoung Chae

Chan-Byoung Chae is an Underwood Distinguished Professor at Yonsei University, Korea, and a Visiting Professor at UC San Diego. He has held positions at Stanford University and Bell Labs. His research focuses on wireless mobile networks and molecular communications. He has received numerous awards, including the Ministry of Education Award (2024), CES Innovation Award (2023), and IEEE Fellow recognition. Dr. Chae has also served as Editor-in-Chief of IEEE journals and contributed to wireless communication standards during his time at Samsung Electronics.
