C. K. Gunsalus

Dr. C. K. Gunsalus serves as Director of the National Center for Professional and Research Ethics (NCPRE) and Professor Emerita of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she has established herself as a leading authority on research integrity, professional ethics, and organizational leadership. As an attorney and academic, she has held faculty positions across multiple colleges including Business, Law, Medicine, and Engineering, bringing a uniquely interdisciplinary perspective to ethics and leadership education. Her expertise spans conflict resolution, negotiation, research ethics, and organizational development, earning her recognition as one of 15 finalists for the 2013 Economist Intelligence Unit Best Business Professor of the Year award. She is an elected fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and has served in significant leadership roles including chairing the AAAS Committee on Scientific Freedom and Responsibility and serving on the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism.
