Brian Silverman

Brian Silverman holds the J.R.S. Prichard and Ann Wilson Chair in Management at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. His research explores how a firm's competitive strategy and organizational structure impact performance, with current work examining gender differences in social network construction and benefits within organizations. He has published extensively in top journals and authored six books, with his research receiving coverage in popular media. Silverman has taught executive programs globally, earning numerous teaching awards, and is recognized as a "Noted Alliance Expert" by the Corporate Strategy Board.
