Brian Carlisle

Brian Carlisle is the CEO and co-founder of Precise Automation, a company specializing in collaborative robots. Before founding Precise, he co-founded Adept Technology, where he served as CEO for 20 years, overseeing its growth to over $100 million in robot sales. Earlier in his career, Carlisle played a key role in developing the PUMA robots for Unimation, Inc. He has also served as President of the Robotic Industries Association and is a recipient of the prestigious Joseph Engelberger Award for Leadership in Robotics. An elected IEEE Fellow, Carlisle holds multiple patents in robot design and earned his BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
