Bárbara Cedillo is a consultant in the Citizen Security and Justice sector at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in Washington, DC. She focuses on citizen security and justice operations, as well as state modernization processes in Mexico, Central America, and the Dominican Republic. Bárbara holds a master's degree in Security from Georgetown University, USA, and a bachelor's degree in International Relations from the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM). She has also consulted for the Department of Public Security at the Organization of American States (OAS) and the World Bank in Washington, DC. Prior to this, she worked in social communication for the Technical Secretariat of the National Security Council at the Presidency of Mexico.
