Massachusetts Institute of TechnologyAleksander Madry is the Cadence Design Systems Professor of Computing in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a member of the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL). He received his Ph.D. from MIT in 2011 and has held various academic positions, including a postdoctoral researcher at Microsoft Research New England and faculty at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) until early 2015. Currently, he serves as the Director of the MIT Center for Deployable Machine Learning and is a Faculty Co-Lead of the MIT AI Policy Forum.
