After earning his BS in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering from Webb Institute, MS in Management from MIT, and Doctor of Business Administration in Logistics from Harvard Business School, he built an impressive 35-year career spanning executive roles and consulting. His leadership positions included Vice President roles at Digital Equipment Corporation, SAP Global Program Management, i2 Technologies, and Polaroid Corporation, where he managed multi-billion dollar global operations. As co-founder of Logistics Systems, Inc., he pioneered specialized consulting and software solutions for commercial and government organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at MIT, Tufts, and Brandeis University, he focuses on developing and implementing global supply chain strategies while building integrated, high-performance supply chain organizations. His expertise spans multiple industries, including electronics, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, automotive, software, and retail, where he has consistently emphasized integrating global transportation, logistics, customer services, order fulfillment, manufacturing, forecasting, planning, and materials systems for both internal and outsourced operations. As an independent consultant and educator, he continues to contribute to the field through graduate-level teaching and advising organizations on process improvements and supply chain strategy implementation.
