Ka Tat Tsang teaches master's courses in direct social work practice, focusing on individual counseling and group work skills, as well as a course on sexuality and sexual diversity. He also instructs a Ph.D. course on epistemology and research methods. Beyond academia, Tsang has provided extensive teaching, training, and consulting for universities, NGOs, and major corporations across various countries, including Canada, China, India, Japan, and the USA. With a background in social work and clinical psychology, he has practiced psychotherapy and counseling since the 1970s and has designed workshops on dating and interpersonal relationships for over thirty years. His scholarly interests encompass sexuality and intimacy, interpersonal and social relationships, mental health, cross-cultural work, and social science theory.
