The curriculum spans 7 comprehensive modules covering business value of data analytics, statistics, descriptive analytics, experimentation, data sources, predictive analytics, and prescriptive analytics. Each module combines theoretical foundations with practical applications.

The program comprises 7 modules: Module I covers building data-driven culture and analytics readiness. Module II focuses on statistics and probability. Module III explores descriptive analytics and data visualization. Module IV covers experimentation and causal analysis. Module V addresses data sources and cleaning. Module VI delves into predictive analytics and machine learning. Module VII covers prescriptive analytics and optimization.

Programme Length

Prof. Peeyush Mehta

Operations Management

Peeyush Mehta has built a distinguished academic career in Operations Management, serving as a professor at IIM Calcutta since 2012, following his tenure at IIT Kanpur's Department of Industrial & Management Engineering from 2005 to 2011. His academic journey includes a doctorate from IIM Ahmedabad and post-doctoral research at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, complemented by three years of practical industry experience in Power sector operations after earning his Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Jodhpur University. At IIM Calcutta, he applies this comprehensive background to teaching production and operations management, supply chain management, and operations analytics.
