She teaches courses on Korean language education, teaching methods, and class management. Kang has over eight years of experience as a senior lecturer at Yonsei's Korean Language Institute, including a stint as director of the Yonsei Language Institute in Los Angeles. She earned her BA, MA, and Ed.D. in Education from Yonsei University and has also taught at the University of Sheffield and Seoul National University. Her research focuses on Korean language education trends, curriculum development, and teacher training programs.
