Michael H. Jordan Professor of Finance and Management
Andrew Metrick is a Professor of Finance at Yale School of Management, joining in 2008. He previously taught at Wharton and Harvard and served on the Council of Economic Advisers in 2009-2010. Metrick is also a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research and directs the Yale Program on Financial Stability. His research focuses on financial stability, systemic risk regulation, and the financial crisis of 2007-2009. He has received numerous teaching awards, including the Joseph R. Levenson Memorial Teaching Award from Harvard and the Lindback Award from Penn.

Timothy F. Geithner served as the 75th Secretary of the Treasury from January 26, 2009, to January 25, 2013, during one of the most challenging financial crises in U.S. history. His leadership was pivotal in designing and implementing strategies to avert a global economic collapse and to stabilize the U.S. economy and financial system.In 2014, Geithner partnered with the Yale School of Management (SOM) to enhance practical knowledge regarding financial crisis prevention and response.
