Dr. Michael W. Ross is a distinguished Professor in the Program in Human Sexuality at the University of Minnesota, where he holds the Joycelyn Elders Chair in Sexual Health Education, a position he has held since 2014. With an impressive academic background that includes 11 degrees, such as a MedDr and a PhD in cross-cultural health psychology, Dr. Ross has dedicated over 30 years to studying sexuality and mental health across various countries, including India, South Africa, and Vietnam. His extensive research portfolio boasts more than 500 publications and books, reflecting his commitment to advancing knowledge in sexual health. Dr. Ross has also worked extensively within prison environments, focusing on both physical and mental health issues, and has practiced as a clinical psychologist.
