Charles Severance, known as Dr. Chuck, is a Clinical Professor at the University of Michigan School of Information, where he teaches technology-focused courses, including programming, database design, and web development. An accomplished author, he has written several books, such as Using Google App Engine and Python for Everybody. His research centers on developing learning management systems, having served as the chief architect for Sakai, which is utilized by approximately 300 educational institutions worldwide.
