William Kuskin is a Professor of English at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he specializes in the history of literary books, spanning from medieval manuscripts to contemporary comic books. He earned his BA from Vassar College in 1987 and his PhD from the University of Wisconsin—Madison in 1998. His scholarly work includes two significant books on William Caxton, England’s first printer: a monograph titled Symbolic Caxton: Literary Culture and Print Capitalism (Notre Dame Press, 2008) and an edited collection, Caxton’s Trace: Studies in the History of English Printing (Notre Dame Press, 2006).
