Brenda J. Allen serves as Professor Emerita at the University of Colorado Denver, where she previously held the position of Vice Chancellor for Diversity and Inclusion. Her 30-year career in the University of Colorado system has established her as a leading authority in organizational communication, social identity, and inclusive leadership. Her groundbreaking book "Difference Matters: Communicating Social Identity" has become a cornerstone text in the field. Her Coursera course "Inclusive Leadership: The Power of Workplace Diversity" helps leaders identify and address unconscious bias, create inclusive workplace cultures, and develop effective diversity strategies.
