This capstone project course allows students to integrate and apply the diverse professional skills acquired throughout the Career Success Specialization to demonstrate their career readiness to potential employers. Participants select a real organization to analyze, conducting a comprehensive SWOT analysis to identify key strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Students then focus on a specific people or process-related problem, developing a detailed analysis that explores the issue's impacts, affected stakeholders, and potential solutions. The project culminates in a strategic recommendation that addresses the identified organizational challenge. Through this applied learning experience, students demonstrate their ability to gather and analyze information, think critically, use strategic planning tools, and effectively communicate solutions to senior-level decision makers, showcasing the practical value they can bring to organizations.
