Jerry Cooperstein has established himself as a leading figure in Linux education and development since 1994, combining his extensive background in nuclear astrophysics with Linux expertise. His academic credentials include a Ph.D., Master's, and BS in Physics from Stony Brook University. Throughout his career, Cooperstein has made significant contributions to both scientific computing and Linux education, developing state-of-the-art simulation software for supercomputers and creating comprehensive training programs for Linux kernel and user space development. His expertise in Linux device drivers and interrupt handling has made him a respected authority in the field, and he has been instrumental in shaping the Linux Foundation's educational initiatives, including the popular "Introduction to Linux" course which has enrolled over 250,000 students worldwide.
