Nicoletta Di Blas is an associate professor at Politecnico di Milano, Italy's largest technical university. With a background in classics and a PhD in general linguistics, she has taught communication skills at the university for nearly two decades and technology-based communication for cultural heritage at the University of Italian Switzerland for eight years. Di Blas is the head of HOC-LAB, a multimedia communication and innovative education laboratory within the Department of Electronics, Information, and Bioengineering. She has actively participated in over 20 research projects, leading several as a coordinator, and has (co)authored more than 140 publications in her field.
