Rishikesha T Krishnan serves as Director of IIM Bangalore and Professor of Strategy, where he holds the Ram Charan Chair in Innovation and Leadership. After earning his MS from IIT Kanpur and Stanford University, followed by a Fellow title (PhD equivalent) from IIM Ahmedabad, he has established himself as a leading voice in innovation management and strategy. His career includes serving as Director of IIM Indore (2014-2018), Mentor Director of IIM Sambalpur, and holding the Jamuna Raghavan Chair in Entrepreneurship at IIMB. Through his extensive research resulting in over 200 publications and two influential books on innovation, including the award-winning "8 Steps to Innovation: Going from Jugaad to Excellence," he continues to shape management thinking while being consistently listed in Thinkers50 India since 2013. His contributions span academic leadership, entrepreneurship, and policy advisory, including serving on boards of National Payments Corporation of India and participating in government committees on data protection and aviation.
Distinguished Innovation Consultant and Design Thinking Expert
Vinay Dabholkar serves as President of Catalign Innovation Consulting, where he catalyzes organizational transformation through design thinking, innovation culture, and mindfulness. After earning his BTech from IIT Bombay and PhD in Computer Science from SUNY Buffalo, he built a decade of industry experience at Motorola US and Sasken Bangalore before transitioning to consulting. Through his work with organizations like Airbus, Adobe, Oracle, and Mindtree, he continues to influence innovation practices while serving as visiting faculty at IIM Bangalore and IIT Bombay.
