Sari Mattila serves as Visiting Faculty in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Management at IIM Bangalore, where she coordinates the OB-HRM doctoral program. After earning her integrated Master's in Philosophy from University of Joensuu and PhD in Management and OB/HR from Tampere University of Technology, she has established herself as a leading voice in organizational wisdom and psycho-social dynamics. Through her research on organizational toxicity, spirituality, and traditional wisdom, she explores how collective wisdom manifests in organizational settings. Her work examines experiential learning, group dynamics, and mindfulness practices while investigating the intersection of philosophy and management. As a member of the Academy of Management, European Group for Organizational Studies, and International Society for the Psychoanalytic Study of Organizations, she continues to advance understanding of organizational health and enlightenment while bringing unique perspectives from her background in competitive horseback riding and industry experience.
