Organizational Behavior Expert with a Focus on Learning Innovations
Chiara Succi has been an Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior at ESCP Europe’s Turin Campus since 2009. She holds a degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Lugano, Switzerland, where she also earned her Ph.D., specializing in learning innovations. Chiara contributed to various research projects under the Swiss Virtual Campus Programme, funded by the Swiss National Foundation, to explore the factors that lead to successful eLearning initiatives. She has held teaching assistant positions at the University of Lugano, Politecnico di Milano, and Edith Cowan University in Australia as a visiting researcher. Chiara also worked as an internal consultant at UniManagement, the leadership development center of UniCredit Group, and collaborated with the Masie Center in New York on research with the Learning CONSORTIUM network, which includes nearly 150 Fortune 500 companies.
Expert in Human Resource Management and Employee Engagement
Kerstin Alfes is a Professor of Organisation and Human Resource Management at ESCP Europe’s Berlin campus. Before joining ESCP, she served as a Senior Lecturer at Kingston University in London, where she led the Employee Engagement Consortium, and as an Assistant Professor at Tilburg University in the Netherlands. She earned her PhD from the University of Bern in Switzerland. Kerstin teaches courses on human resource management and organizational behavior at undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive levels. Her research focuses on employee engagement, strategic HR management, volunteering, and over-qualification, and she has published in leading journals such as Human Resource Management and European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology. Additionally, she serves as Associate Editor of the International Journal of Human Resource Management and Co-Chair of Social Media for the HR division at the Academy of Management.
