Gaetan Petit is the co-founder and General Manager of Space4Impact, an organization dedicated to promoting space technologies for sustainable solutions on Earth. His diverse academic background includes an engineering degree from EPFL Lausanne and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from ETH Zurich. After working as a scientist at the European Space Agency's Advanced Concepts Team, he served as a technology transfer officer at the Swiss Space Center, where he developed expertise in bridging the gap between space technology and terrestrial applications. His work focuses on connecting space technology startups with non-space industries to develop sustainable solutions aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals. Under his leadership, Space4Impact has successfully facilitated numerous collaborations between space technology providers and traditional industries, helping to establish space technology as a practical solution for addressing global challenges. Petit's vision combines scientific expertise with entrepreneurial innovation to promote the adoption of space technologies in new markets.
