Professor Ellen Van Oosten, Ph.D., holds an MBA and Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University, along with a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton. After years of working in engineering, she transitioned to academia, joining the Weatherhead School of Management in 1995. She has served as Assistant Dean for Executive Education, Managing Director for Custom Programs, and currently holds a dual appointment as Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior and Faculty Director for Executive Education.

Melvin L. Smith, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Organizational Behavior and serves as the Faculty Director of Executive Education at the Case Weatherhead School of Management. He earned his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management from the University of Pittsburgh's Katz Graduate School of Business. Dr. Smith also holds a B.S. in General Management and Accounting from Purdue University and an MBA in Marketing from Clark-Atlanta University.
