About Vignan University

AboutEstablished in 2009, VFSTR is a deemed university located in Vadlamudi, Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. The institution spans 42.86 acres and offers over 300 programs across engineering, medicine, management, sciences, and other disciplines. Founded under the Vignan Educational Trust's guidance, it received deemed university status in 2008 and has since grown into a comprehensive research-intensive institution.

The university maintains a comprehensive placement ecosystem through its integrated placement cell. Students receive extensive pre-placement training through workshops, mock interviews, and group discussions. The institution has consistently achieved excellent placement records with multiple job offers per eligible student. In 2025, the university achieved an 84.1% placement rate, successfully placing 1,215 students.
