Nonprofit Leadership Expert and Diversity Education Pioneer
Dr. Angela R. Logan serves as Associate Teaching Professor and St. Andre Bessette Academic Director of the Master of Nonprofit Administration at the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business. As the first African American woman to earn a Ph.D. in Philanthropic Studies from the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, she brings over 25 years of experience in higher education and philanthropy to her role. Her research focuses on the intersection of gender, race, faith, and nonprofit leadership, which she explores through her podcast "Powerful Conversations" featuring Black women leaders
Organizational Justice and Leadership Scholar
Dr. Cindy P. Muir (Zapata) serves as Professor of Management and Organization at the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business, bringing unique insights as a Colombian-American scholar to her research on organizational behavior. After earning her Ph.D. in Management and B.S. in Psychology from the University of Florida, she has established herself as a leading expert in organizational justice, leadership, and diversity studies. Her research focuses on understanding the complex dynamics of supervisor-employee relationships, particularly examining the disconnect between leader behaviors and employee perceptions. Her work has been extensively published in top-tier journals, with her research on justice and trust being highly cited, including a seminal paper on justice at the millennium that has received over 1,900 citations
