About Andhra University

Established in 1926, Andhra University is a prestigious public university located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Founded by Sir C.R. Reddy as its first Vice-Chancellor, it was the first university to be conceived as a residential teaching-cum-affiliating institution in India. The university spans 422 acres with 125 academic and administrative buildings.
